1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Gurt Builds Quoting Tool, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. Age Restriction
This Service is for business use by adults aged 18 and over only. By using the Service you confirm you are at least 18 years of age. We will terminate any account found to belong to a person under 18.
3. The Service
Gurt Builds provides a web-based estimating and quoting tool for construction and trades professionals. All pricing calculations are estimates only, based on the rates you input. You are solely responsible for any quotation issued to your clients. We strongly recommend all estimates are reviewed before issue.
4. Your Account
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@gurtbuilds.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.
5. Subscriptions & Payment
New users receive a 14-day free trial with no payment required. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You may cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are given for partial periods. We may update pricing with 30 days' notice.
6. Acceptable Use
You must not use the Service fraudulently, attempt to access systems without authorisation, upload malicious code, reverse engineer the software, or resell the Service without our written consent.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and all its content is owned by Gurt Builds. You retain ownership of quotes and data you create. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Service during your active subscription.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gurt Builds is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or losses arising from reliance on estimates generated by the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.
9. Online Safety
This Service is intended for adults aged 18 and over in the UK construction and trades industry. We comply with the UK Online Safety Act 2023. Report any concerns or illegal content to hello@gurtbuilds.co.uk immediately.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
